LOGO AND EMBLEM

The emblem demonstrates the State of Johor Darul Takzim's identity and also to illustrate five main principles of the Local Government and Johor Bahru Tengah Municipal Council (MPJBT). The round shape of MPJBT emblem means that MPJBT's administration lies within areas of unity therefore showing united cooperation by all parties in creating a well planned, cultural, beautiful and peaceful municipal. The Arabic characters that are written at the upper section of the circle show self esteem, religion and culture that must be preserved.

The components of MPJBT's logo are:-

Tiger
Display of strength and firm and also acts as a guardian which functions as an enforcement body that has authority to handle the development of its governed areas according to MPJBT's objectives.

Moon and Star
Display of a just Constitution which is based on Islamic religion. The star shows the five aspects of development which are Economy, Social, Education, Religion and Culture.

Eight Edges
Display of the history of MPJBT which consisted of eight branches that united under one administration.

Circle Inside Eight Edges
Display of MPJBT's society that adheres to cooperation and respect to each other, meanwhile the location of the circles inside element of eight edges also displays a good and cooperative community.

Building
Display of an efficient administration in planning development in terms of housing, industrialisation and entrepreneurship.

Gear Grill
Display of industrial technology that helps build and develop economy as well as social in the areas governed by MPJBT.

Computer Components
Display of information technology advancement that demonstrates MPJBT's readiness towards the latest technology development in producing efficient and smooth administration.

Pepper and "Gambir" Leaf
Display the history if MPJBT's areas which were once the main plantation areas for the commodity.

Red
Demonstrates that courage, solid and firm in administration carried out by MPJBT.

Blue
Demonstrates national integrity, honesty and also the determination and willingness of every individual in MPJBT and their willingness to the best services to every community.

Yello
Demonstrates the power and superiority of the ruling Royal and also to demonstrate that Johor is a sovereign state. It also shows the high spirit of MPJBT in performing their duties to achieve its goals.

Green
Demonstrates the history of MPJBT areas which once were greened with pepper and gambir plantations and to show that MPJBT strives to establish a well planned and cultural municipal hence showing the beauty and serenity of its areas.

Indigo
Demonstrates the dynamic, strength and robust MPJBT when doing their duties to ensure peaceful and harmony.
