1. Her Royal Highness Seri Paduka Baginda Sultanah Zanariah binti Al-Marhum Tunku Ahmad came from the Kelantan Royal Family
2. Born on 5th of July 1940 at Dusun Green, Pasir Mas, Kelantan.
3. Her Royal Highness the Sultanah started her formal education at Sultanah Zainab School, Kelantan in 1946.
4. Her Royal Highness the Sultanah continued her education at Convent Bukit Nenas School, Kuala Lumpur from 1950 to 1952
5. Her Royal Highness the Sultanah later continued her education at the Sultan Ibrahim School, Pasir Mas.
6. Her Royal Highness the Sultanah proceeded to England in the 1954 for further studies at Upper Chime School at the Isle of Wight
7. Out of her own initiative, Sultanah Zanariah established the Majlis Wanita Negeri Johor or MAWAR (the Women's Council of Johor),
8. During her free time, Her Royal Highness the Sultanah loves to exercise, ride horses, play golf, tennis and read books.
